Salma Khan

A large part of my art is comprised of experimental photography and mixed media. These mediums allow me to explore the relationships between objects, applications, and the dialogue it follows. We, humans, long for connections – the simplest way to communicate our identities, past experiences, feelings, emotions, and desires is through the creation of art. The biggest challenge remains within the eyes of the spectators and their interpretation. My goal remains to find a proper balance between my birthplace and my citizenship to the north.
